Solgar Cod Liver Oil is a formula of fatty acids; Vitamin A and Vitamin D. Cod liver oil is a naturally rich source of vitamins A and D. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that supports wellbeing; and in particular; supports immune function. Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin which can be found in two forms: as retinol or the precursor beta carotene. Retinol can be found in foods from an animal source; and beta carotene can be found in colourful fruits and vegetables. Several of the body’s systems are dependent on sufficient levels of Vitamin A.
